About the author

Grace Presley has been helping parents since 2001 to understand the psychology of misbehaving children and how to focus on solutions instead of dwelling on the negative. She believes in gaining mutual respect with your child rather than asserting aggressive punishment and that this is the key to raising good kids. She coaches parents and teachers to be both firm and kind so that any child–from a toddler to a rebellious teenager–can learn creative cooperation and self-discipline.

Grace is the parent of 3 beautiful children that have given her a good dose of struggles. Luckily she turned that pain into doing the necessary work to ensure she was going to successfully raise great human beings that would have ultimate respect not only for others but for themselves, have self-discipline, and know how to communicate well.

After experiencing 20-plus years of working with many teachers, educational groups, mentors, and therapists to understand children’s psychology and problem-solving with them, all while passing along taught knowledge and wisdom to other parents, Grace decided it was time to put her work in book formats to spread these teachings far and wide.

Grace’s work provides parents with science-proven techniques and strategies you need to help respond to your children without reactive parenting. She strives to help you develop these necessary skills to help your child(ren) develop the life and social skills they need for years to come.

With training tools and personal examples from the Grace, you will learn: How to bridge communication gaps with your children; How to diffuse power struggles; How to avoid the dangers of praise; How to enforce your message of love; How to build on strengths, not weaknesses; How to hold children accountable with their self-respect intact; How to win cooperation at home and at school; And more!
